Few years ago, someone told me Christmas was only for Christians and I can't celebrate it. I have always celebrated Christmas as much as Diwali or Eid. I did not answer that person that time, but today I do through my art. This story of an angel in doubt struggling with his shadow, played by Pariichay trying to make peace and keep his faith alive. #Christmas is for everyone- for the naughty, the nice, the rich and the poor. It is the time of the year to be happy. Join me in my joy.

So Rachita and I had a couple of hours to shoot this when I visited mumbai. It was fun to work with her. She is an amazing dancer and is associated with Kaustubh Ballet in mumbai. We wanted to share a dance that was not too technical to digest but just right! More importantly, we wanted to show a cute love story between two very young people en-capturing their love and vulnerability.

"Limbo"- the space between death and afterlife

We all have/know someone close who is departed. We often dont realise how attached we can get to a place we call home. I resonate with this feeling because I left my 'home' about 13 years ago.
So this story is of a soul attached to a house who is struggling to enter the doors of heaven.

"Fear.. Fear is the relinquishment of logic, the willing relinquishing of reasonable patterns. But so, it seems, is love. Love is the relinquishment of logic... The willing relinquishing of reasonable patterns. We yield to it or we fight it. But we cannot meet it halfway. Without it - we cannot continue for long to exist sanely under conditions of absolute reality. Hill house- not sane - stands against its hills holding darkness within. It has stood so for a hundred years and might stand a hundred more. Within walls continue upright. Bricks meet neatly. Floors are firm. And doors are sensibly shut. Silence lay steadily against the wood and stone of Hill House. And those who walk there... Walk together."- The haunting of hill house.

I did 4 years of research into this book. Meet Savitri tai (name changed) from Pune who narrated this story to me.

My curiosity brings me face to face with places and stories that are often times hard to believe and leave me perplexed. Listen to one such spine-chilling story that I stumbled upon!
