7 Days of the week in 7 Romance Languages

This is my own interpretation of Ancient Egyptian Language. The hardest part of reconstructing this beautiful language is the way Egyptians wrote Hieroglyphs, it only depicts consonants not vowels.
I just watched videos and read materials about semitic languages like Arabic, Hebrew etc, just to have an idea of it :)

The Egyptian language was spoken in ancient Egypt and was a branch of the Afro-Asiatic languages. Its attestation stretches over an extraordinarily long time, from the Old Egyptian stage (mid-3rd millennium BC, Old Kingdom of Egypt). Its earliest known complete written sentence has been dated to about 2690 BC, which makes it one of the oldest recorded languages known, along with Sumerian.

Its classical form is known as Middle Egyptian, the vernacular of the Middle Kingdom of Egypt which remained the literary language of Egypt until the Roman period. The spoken language evolved into Demotic by the time of Classical Antiquity, and finally into Coptic by the time of Christianisation. Spoken Coptic was almost extinct by the 17th century, but it remains in use as the liturgical language of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria.

Hopi (Hopilàvayi)

Hopi is an Uto-Aztecan language spoken in northeastern Arizona in the USA. According to the 2010 census there are 6,780 Hopi speakers. The language is still being passed on to children, and about three quarters of the Hopi people speak Hopi as a native language.

There are four main varieties of Hopi: First Mesa or Polacca; Mishongnovi or Toreva (Musangnuve'e Hopilàvayi); Shipaulovi or Sipaulovi, and Third Mesa or Oraibi (Orayvit Hopilàvayi). They were identified by Benjamin Whorf, who was the first to analyse the Hopi language and who focused on the Mishongnovi variety.

There is a Hopi-English dictionary edited by Emory Sekaquaptewa, and the language is promoted by the Hopi Literacy Project. There are also bi-lingual education programs in Hopi in Arizona.

Hopi has an interesting way of expressing concepts of time and space: for something that happens a long way from a speaker is described as having happened in the distant past.

Slovenian (slovenščina/slovenski jezik)

Slovenian or Slovene is a South Slavic language spoken by about 2.5 million people mainly in Slovenia, and also in Italy, particularly in Friuli Venezia Giulia; in Austria especially in Carinthia and Styria; in Vas in Hungary, and and also in Croatia.

Slovenian is closely related to Croatian and Serbian, particularly to the Kajkavian and Čakavian dialects, and is in fact more or less mutually intelligible with Kajkavian Croatian dialects.

There is a standardised variety Slovenian used in speech and writing which developed from central dialects from the 18th century, and there are also distinct regional varieties some of which differ from the standard language considerably in phonology, vocabulary and grammar. In recent years use of the regional varieties has declined and while they retain their distinct pronunciation, other aspects have become increasingly like the standard language. Slovenian dialects spoken in the Italian province of Udine have not been influenced by standard Slovenian and can be difficult for other Slovenian speakers to understand.

The earliest known examples of a distinct, written form of Slovenian appear in the Freising Manuscripts, (Brižinski spomeniki in Slovenian), which date from around 1,000 AD. The first publised works in Slovenian, a catechism and an alphabet primer appeared in 1551, and the first Slovenian translation of the bible was published in 1584. In 1811 Slovenian was adopted as the language of education, administration and the media and later became the official language of Slovenia.

Languages of the Philippines!

There are some 120 to 175 languages and dialects in the Philippines, depending on the method of classification.Four others are no longer spoken. Almost all are Malayo-Polynesian languages, whereas one, Chavacano, is a creole derived from Spanish, a Romance language. Two are official (English and Filipino), while (as of 2017) nineteen are official auxiliary languages. Including second-language speakers, there are more speakers of Filipino than English in the Philippines.

Sorbian, or Wendisch, is a member of the West Slavic subgroup of Indo-European languges spoken by about 55,000 people in Upper and Lower Lusatia in the German Länder of Saxony and Brandenburg. The Sorbs are descendents of the Wends, the German name for the Slavic tribes who occupied the area between the Elbe and Saale rivers in the west and the Odra (Oder) River in the east during the medieval period.

Sorbian first appeared in writing during the 16th century. The first Sorbian texts include a fragment of a liturgy (1543) from Zossen and the translation of the New Testament (1548) by M Jakubica from Laubnitz. In the mid-19th century, written Upper Sorbian based on the dialect spoken around Bautzen was introduced as the compulsory standard in the Sorbian-speaking area in Upper Lusatia, while written Lower Sorbian based on the Cottbus dialect was introduced as the standard written form in Lower Lusatia.

Sorbian is taught as a subject in a number of secondary schools and used as a medium of instruction for some subjects. There are a number of nursery and primary schools which teach through the medium of Sorbian.There is one daily paper, Serbske Nowiny, entirely in Upper Sorbian and one weekly paper, Nowy Casnik, half in Lower Sorbian and half in German. There are also a few journals and magazines in Sorbian. Each week about 10 hours of Sorbian programmes are broadcast on German radio stations. Hausa (Harshen Hausa / هَرْشَن هَوْسَ)
Hausa is a Chadic language with about 44 million speakers. It is spoken mainly in northern Nigeria and Niger, and also in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic (CAR), Chad, Congo, Eritrea, Germany, Ghana, Sudan and Togo.

Since the beginning of the 17th century, Hausa has been written with a version of the Arabic script known as ajami. Most of the early writing in Hausa was Islamic poetry or on Islamic themes. Ajami is still used, mainly to write poetry, but also for at least one newpaper and some books. There is no standard spelling system for Hausa written with the Arabic script, so there is some variation in spelling between different writers.

A version of Hausa written with the Latin alphabet and known as boko began to emerge during the 19th century. Until the 1950s ajami and boko were both used, though since then boko has been the main alphabet for most Hausa speakers.
